TECH TIPS...
BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE
Future Third Grade Families, June 2019
During third grade 3 -8 you will have to bring a device to school with you every day. Children bring a laptop which we use daily. St. John Eudes School has developed a list of requirements you will need in my class.
SJE will connect each student’s device to the school’s student WiFi network, so that any device will be able to access the internet and printer, while being protected by the school’s security filters.
Students are responsible for:
-Windows (windows 10 or higher)
-iOS (10.6 of later)
- WE DO NOT RECOMMEND using android devices, (such as Samsung galaxy Tab, Note, Nexus, Chrome or Kindle.) as they require complicated settings. This has affected students’ ability to do research and complete on-line assignments.
We want you to be able to access the following software, apps, or programs. Instructions will be provided to you by Back to School Night.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Rigney
